Fat and 40
A fat, 40cm Ballan that looks much bigger than its length. Going to be a big girl some day. Fell to darting and a pearl Midi Stick.
46cm Ballan Wrasse
Today’s best wrasse went 46cm. I always wonder if these big, brown Ballan Wrasse are females, but I don’t think they can be at this size. That’s what the textbooks seem to say.

UK Rockfishing With Masa
An absolute privilege to fish with my friend, Masaaki Fukuoka (Masa) visiting the UK from Japan. Masa is a true rockfisherman and I always learn something when I fish with him. So glad to put Masa on some decent fish.
