November Wrassing
We’re back! Don’t worry, we still love wrassing. Probably more than ever. But there have been some serious distractions this year. Including the best bass season I’ve ever had. But as the light has gone, around mid-November, it has forced my hand to return to a shallower bite. Which has been perfect timing for some excellent Autumn wrasse fishing.
DNA Versus – Wrasse Pro Edition
Welcome to Wrasse Pro. On Sunday 19th May, Dan and I set out to record the second round of our live, 1-v-1 ‘DNA Versus’ competition for the DNA Fishing Podcast. Fished from my boat, Hot Pursuit, we set out from Portsmouth Harbour to replicate a US bass fishing tournament, but with Ballan Wrasse.
2024 Season Start
The 2024 wrasse fishing season got off to a slow start due to some horrendous weather through April, but the fish were clearly around if you could get to them.
